Training wheels...what training wheels?

Well the time came for us to take the training wheels off the kids bikes...they were ready. Well...Jordan was as it turns out! As you take a gander through the pictures you'll notice Wallace slowly enter into a silent protest. He wound up half way across the parks field claiming he'll never ride his bike again if we don't put the training wheels back on. So freaking hilarious (but don't tell him that)! Anyways, as the story unfolds, Jordan mastered her bike on two wheels in about 2.2 seconds and Wallace tried again another day and managed to master his as well. I do have to add though...he has since requested the replacement of said training wheels as he prefers them on. How can you argue with a four year old...its truly pointless! BOYS!!!!

Andrew's 6th birthday party!

We travelled to Winnipeg to go to the kids good friend Andrew's birthday party.
It was held at the Holiday Inn on Portage....that place is awesome!
The kids got to play on their giant play structure, go swimming and eat a full meal in a banquet room! Angela makes her kids parties hard to top!!!

I won't post the picture as its rather embarrassing but...if you have ever been to a birthday party where there are children in a pool...you are bound to see either myself or Kelly jump in to help out a child who is struggling. Seems it was my turn this round...5+ months pregnant jumping in to help Jordan (of course) out after she attempted no floatation device. Funny yes, pretty...no! I left the party wet and only wearing a long t-shirt. Angela and Kelly kept reassuring me it looked fine...LIARS...but thank you anyways!!!!

Our first crack at baseball!

The kids wanted to try out baseball this summer and Jordan had her dad coach her team while I stayed with Wallace on his team.
It was hilarious and the kids had a blast. Wallace has decided he'd like to pursue his baseball career while Jordan has opted out....FOREVER...as she put it!

Easter 2010

The kids woke up to some serious spoilage this year! Notice the Pringles on the table....Wallace wrote a letter to the Easter Bunny asking for no chocolate, just Pringles because they had 100 chips in the container! Ah the power of television advertising...too funny! We were still finding eggs hidden around the house days later...
