Oldies but goodies!

Kay, if you've ever wondered why we don't have any wedding pics up in the house...its because we lost them all in one of our northern moves. Anyhow...here are a couple as I'd been asked for some. Also, this is my most favorite picture of my husband and I'm also very proud of my rainbow picture...makes me smile.

We had our cousins over for a play date!

Nixxon had a blast on our bouncer and Lexi was pretty content watching the boys fix stuff in the basement...sans pants?!

Hangin' in the park or riding my bike...doesn't get much better than this lately!

Additions

So we made a few additions to the daycare...to say the least!

This was a life altering day for for me.

Kelly came home for lunch and I decided I'd open up the windows to let some fresh air and sunlight in. Pulled the blinds up and this is what I see out my kitchen window. Two women & a man eating a seal...raw. Ripping pieces of flesh off, bagging some and licking the rest off their fingers...blood and all. I couldn't believe it...I didn't eat for days.

Different world up there...so very different!

Kelly had an opportunity to go on a Coast Guard helicopter, which also took him to its ice breaker ship and he had lunch with the captain.

There was a little snow up north....

Well, beluga whales and polar bears didn't last so long in town....that's what happened to the beluga that turned up in the waters out front of our house! Horrific thing to watch actually.
